Join Christine in this 4-part series guaranteed to undo your tension from head to toe. In each 60-minute workshop, you will be guided through breath work and various massage techniques using Yoga TuneUp balls that will release unwanted knots & stress. Christine will also incorporate gentle vinyasa that correspond with the targeted muscle groups to improve mobility within your body. Each week will have a targeted focus so cohesively you will have explored every region of your body head to toe. The workshops can be taken individually with a discount given when purchasing all 4 in advance.
No equipment is required in-person as the standard TuneUp balls and yoga blocks will be provided to use in class. There will be a limited supply to buy from the instructor in class or online at www.tuneupfitness.com if you prefer to have your own equipment or want to participate online. While all levels are welcome, it is suggested that you have a basic knowledge of yoga of 10+ classes if attending online as the instructor will occasionally be off camera during the yoga portion to assist students in the studio.
Week 1
Focus: Upper trapezius, posterior deltoids (back shoulders), and neck muscles
Improved accessibility to poses such as thread the needle, eagle, and plow to release tension around the upper back and neck.
Week 2
Focus: Hamstrings, glutes, lats, and quadratus lumborum (lower back)
Improved accessibility to poses such as half pigeon, twists, and forward folds to release tension in the lower back and hip region.
Week 3
Focus: Pectorals (chest) and anterior deltoids (front shoulders)
Improved accessibility to poses such as cow face, camel, and bow pose to release tension in the front of the shoulders and chest for better posture.
Week 4
Focus: Hip flexors, and quads
Improved accessibility to poses such as dancer, candycane, and reverse tabletop to release tension in the front of the hips from long periods of sitting.
Cost $25/session, $90 for entire series
